The 442.150 was the first SMLRS repeater to come online in July 2012.  The original repeater was a Motorola Micor donated to the club by Dave Beckler, N0SAP, and modified to amateur service by James Adkins, KB0NHX.  When this repeater quit, the club placed a Motorola MSF-5000 in service donated by Ernie Miller, WA0HBX, of Midwest Mobile.  The repeater was re-capped in 2021 by Todd Christell, AD0RR.  The 442.150 repeater is the "South" hub for the SMLRS.

This repeater housed the original RF DMR link to Southwest Missouri Talkgroup 31291 for the SMLRS.  However, in July 2022, the DMR link was decommissioned and  All Star node #565502 was installed at the repeater site.  The Ham VoIP node also allows for an EchoLink node # 113667 with callsign K0NXA-R.

Odd Fact:  In December 2018, the antenna slipped in the clamps after a high wind came through.  A tower crew fixed the problem and straightened the antenna.  However, in June 2019, the antenna was again crooked after a tornadic cell that moved through - this time it bent the mast pipe!  BOTH times a tower crew had been called to fix other work on the tower saving us a lot of money in repairs.
