NARC Website Update

Welcome to the new and improved website for the Nixa Amateur Radio Club!

As you can see, it not only is a lot cleaner and more user friendly, but it also has some new features. You can now create an account and manage your membership. For those that wish to purchase a family membership, you can manage your family directly from your profile, adding up to 4 family members.

There are several other enhancements including a new repeater directory - complete with full detailed descriptions of each repeater. Soon we will also have pictures of all our equipment! One very neat feature that comes along with this is the ability for all of our officers to edit the information directly from the website. While you can't see the admin side of things, I promise it's very cool, and will allow our officer team to ensure all of the information on our website is always up to date. That said, please be patient as we get this information updated on the new website - we do have several repeaters that will all need to be manually entered and descriptions written.

Other admin features we added include the ability to edit net listings, manage the roster (very useful for those that prefer to pay dues in person), and some neat hamfest tools to allow our hamfest committee to keep our hamfest information up to date throughout the year as more plans come together.

In due time, we plan to add many more resources including information about SMLRS and the Forgotten Bands Network, as well as more general information such as study materials, information about digital modes, and lots of other useful information that may help other hams - or people interested in becoming a ham. If you have any resources you'd like for us to include, or would like to help put together some information, please let us know and I'm sure we can find a spot for it on the site!
